is a halal fried kway teow stall run by a Chinese Muslim. It is very popular with the Muslim crowd.

786 Char Kway Teow is probably the only stall in Singapore that I know of with a Chinese Muslim manning the wok, serving halal fried kway teow. This fried kway teow is a bit wetter than others, with a slightly sweeter flavour coming from the sweet black sauce. It is also spicier than usual. It comes with the usual see hum and fish cake slices, wok-fried with egg in a mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles. As this is halal, there is no pork lard and no lap cheong. Surprisingly this tastes pretty decent.
