Braised Duck & Braised Pork

Ah Nian Braised Duck Rice Kway Chap Noodle sells a variety of braised duck and braised pork rice and noodles. Seen above is their braised duck and braised pork rice.

The slices of braised duck is meaty with decent flavours. The braised pork has some fatty parts and is soft and moist with nice meaty and braised flavours. Personally I like the braised pork more than their braised duck.

The rice has a nice firm texture with nice braised and dried shrimp flavours. The soup likewise has nice flavourings with a hint of herbal tastes. Comes served with a saucer of limey and slightly garlicky tasting chilli sauce.

This plate of braised duck and braised pork rice is very likeable and enjoyable. Thumbs up.
