Lor Mee.

Ah Qing Traditional Lor Mee serves a small selection of lor mee with a choice of ingredients. The fried fish lor mee, above, comes with chunky pieces of fried fish, slices of ngo hiang, braised pork belly and half a braised egg along with thick yellow noodles and bean sprouts in a thick starchy sauce.

The fried fish has a dry texture, is meaty with a mildy crispy surface and decent flavours. The ngo hiang is soft with nice flavours of spices and a subtle hint of yam. The braised pork is soft with mostly fatty parts and some meaty bits. The half braised. egg has mild braised taste, and the thick starchy sauce has nice braised flavours.

This serving of lor mee tastes not bad.
