Char Siew Siu Yuk Rice

Ah Yee Hong Kong Roasted serves char siew, siu yuk and roast duck. Their char siew and siu yuk rice is shown above.

Fatty char siew and siu yuk are requested here. The char siew is soft and meaty with some fatty parts and a slightly sweet taste. The fatty parts are nice. The siu yuk has has very soft meat and really crispy skin. It is just mildly savoury and not overly salty. The siu yuk is good!

These comes served on a plate of firm white rice with braised sauce added. A couple of cucumber slices and a dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste is served on the side.

This plate of char siew and siu yuk rice is nice. The siu yuk is especially enjoyable. Thumbs up!
