Hainanese Chicken Rice & Siu Mei

Xin Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice sells hainanese chicken as well as an assortment of siu mei roast meats. Seen above is their hainanese chicken, roast chicken, char siew, siu yuk and roast duck with rice.

The white hainanese chicken has smooth skin and moist tender meat. The roast chicken has moist meat as well, and nice savoury taste. Char siew is soft, with a sweet taste. The siu yuk roast pork is meaty, has crispy skin and not too salty. As for the roast duck, juicy and decent flavours.

The accompanying plate of flavoured rice is fragrant and has a nice firm texture. The soup is lightly flavoured, tastes decent and not overly salty. Chilli sauce is the usual watery type garlic chilli.

Everything at Xin Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice is decent and nice. It is quite a likeable meal.
