Chai Tow Kway serves white style fried carrot cake featuring firm and springy radish cake cubes that are pan-fried with eggs in a flat pancake style.

Both the radish cake cubes and its egg coating are slightly crispy, with pleasant flavours. The black version of fried carrot cake is done a bit differently, with sweet black sauce drizzled over the white fried carrot cake, giving it a sweet note. An optional savoury dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste is provided on the side.
