Hainanese Chicken & Roast Chicken Rice

Chicken Head Chicken Rice sells the usual selection of hainanese chicken rice and roast chicken rice. Shown here is both Hainanese chicken and roast chicken with rice.

The Hainanese white chicken is fairly moist and tender with decently smooth chicken skin. Its roast chicken sibling is slightly drier but still quite moist, with an ordinary tasting chicken skin. The chicken are served on a plate with a sweet soya sauce seasoning.

As for the rice, it is lightly fragrant. Your usual normal chicken rice taste. The accompanying soup is a bit over on the salty side. Chilli sauce is just standard chicken rice garlic chilli. This chicken rice does not taste bad, but it is kind of ordinary in a likeable way.
