Satay
Chye Seng Satay sells pork and chicken satay, mutton is no longer available. This satay is served with with satay sauce that contains pineapple puree. The assortment of satay is served on a plate with cucumber slices and onion bits.
The satay has sweet seasoning flavours and are nicely grilled with some slightly charred caramelised bits giving it nice smokey flavours but also making the meats a tad dry though. Both pork and chicken satay are meaty and the pork satay comes with a piece of fatty pork skewered in between. The accompanying satay sauce has very mild level of spiciness, has nice nutty flavours and a bit tarty from the added pineapple puree. Nice!
