Review: Chong Pang Huat (Singapore)

[Sassy_Social_Share]

BBQ Chicken Wings

This BBQ chicken wing has lightly crispy skin with nice juicy flesh. Nice flavours too. Comes served with a piece of green lime and a limey tasting chilli dipping sauce. Decent.

Satay

Chong Pang Huat sells satay in the usual choices of meats: chicken, pork and mutton, with decently sized meat portions. All the satay are nicely grilled with a little bit of charred bits and a sweet seasoning flavourings.

The chicken satay is soft and moist. The pork satay has fatty pork pieces in between of regular pork pieces, making it both meaty and juicy. The mutton satay is meaty and fairly soft too, and no gamey tastes. The slightly charred bits are nice. Comes served with a thick and nutty tasting satay sauce that is mildly spicy, and some cucumber slices and onion bits. Quite likeable.
