Fei Yuan Teochew Mee: Fishball & Meatball Soup

The fishball noodles comes with fishballs, fish cake slices, minced meat and a fish dumpling served in a bowl of pleasantly flavoured soup. The meatballs are an additional add-on. A bowl of tossed mee pok is served alongside.

The fishball is soft and smooth with savoury fish taste. The fish cake is springy with a nice fish taste too. The fish dumpling is fairly smooth with a nicely flavoured filling, and the meatball is soft, meaty and flavourful. The tossed mee pok is firm and springy with a wet seasoning that tastes alright. It is topped with chopped spring onions and crispy pork lard.

While the mee pok may taste rather ordinary, the fishball and meatball are both nice!
