Heng Leong Carrot Cake

dishes out fried carrot cake in white and black options using self-made radish cake. Nice.

Fried Carrot Cake

Heng Leong Carrot Cake dishes out fried carrot cake using self-made radish cake. The radish cake has nice firm texture and flavouring.

Large chunky radish cubes are used for the white fried carrot cake. It is pan fried with egg and topped with chopped spring onions. Due to the large chunky size of the radish cubes used, this fried carrot cake is mostly soft with some pockets of crispiness.

The black version of fried carrot cake uses smaller cubes of the same radish cake, pan fried with egg with sweet black sauce added and served topped with chopped spring onions. This fried carrot cake has mildly sweet flavours coming from the added sweet black sauce. It has some pockets of crispy parts as well which tastes nice.

The serving portions for both versions of fried carrot cake is quite generous too. Personally I prefer the black version of the fried carrot cake. It is nice.
