Minced Meat & Fishball Noodles

Jia Le Handmade Fishball Noodle dishes out minced meat and fishball noodles with usual choice of noodles. Seen here is their mee pok with meatballs added as extras.

The mee pok is tossed in a nicely flavoured seasoning sauce with a hint of ketchup. It has quite a smooth and fairly springy texture. Crispy lard pieces are including with minced meat, pork slices, mushroom bits and some vegetables. The minced meat and pork slices are both soft and moist, and the mushroom bits is soft with nice braised flavours.

A bowl of savoury tasting soup, topped with chopped spring onions, is served on the side with fishballs and added meatballs. The fishball is soft and smooth, springy too. The meatball is firm and springy, and has a nice juicy minced meat filling inside. Both are nice, especially their handmade fishballs. Thumbs up!
