Fried Kway Teow.

The fried kway teow features a mixture of kway teow, yellow noodles, bean sprouts, vegetables and egg, wok-fried with crispy pork lard and sweet black sauce added. It contains pieces of small see hum, slices of soft and springy fish cake, and slices of firm and sweet lap cheong.

This plate of fried kway teow tastes pretty decent with a light sweet undertone.

Fried Hokkien Mee.

The fried hokkien mee has a wok-fried mixture of yellow noodles, thick mee hoon, crispy pork lard, bean sprouts and egg, with sotong, prawns and pork belly slices added. The sotong is firm and chewy, the prawns are of decent size and freshness, and the pork belly is meaty with a layer of fatty parts. A side of chilli paste, and a piece of green lime completes the dish.

This serving of fried hokkien mee is moist and rather flavourful. Not bad.

Mee Goreng.

The mee goreng has yellow noodles wok-fried with bean sprouts, egg, vegetables and tomato, with prawns and sotong. The prawns are of decent size and freshness, and the sotong is firm and chewy.

The mee goreng has a moist texture with decent flavours and a light note of spiciness. A piece of green lime is provided on the side, and a dose of its squeezed lime juice enhances the flavours with a subtle hint of limey.

Fried Carrot Cake.

The fried carrot cake uses firm and spring radish cake cubes pan-fried with eggs. The white version has a slightly crispy egg coating, while the black version has a moist texture and is not crispy. Both options taste fairly decent with the black ones having a slightly sweet note coming from the added sweet black sauce. Both fried carrot cake are just alright.

The fried oyster omelette has soft and flavourful eggs that are pan-fried to a light crisp. Its starchy parts are soft and chewy. The oysters are on the small side, but taste decent. Comes topped with corriander leaves and a limey chilli dip is provided on the side. Decent.
