Makan Sutera Nasi Lemak Pandan Rice

is a well known nasi lemak stall that uses green pandan rice. Definitely likeable.

Nasi Lemak

Makan Sutera Nasi Lemak Pandan Rice is a well known stall serving nasi lemak using green pandan rice. A couple of sets are available. Seen here is their fried chicken wing set with luncheon meat, fish fillet and an egg omelette. A couple of cucumber slices and sambal chilli is served on the side.

First, the green pandan rice. It has a nice firm texture, rather fragrant and quite flavourful. The luncheon meat, fish fillet and egg omelette are all quite ordinary. Luncheon meat and fish fillet are soft and not crispy at all. As for the fried chicken wing, it is crispy outside with moist meat and nice seasoning flavours. The sambal chilli has dried shrimp flavours and a slightly sweet taste.

This serving of nasi lemak is definitely likeable. It would have been worth a star if the sides are done better, but it is still lovely and enjoyable.
