Cai Png

Man Cheng Mixed Rice & Porridge does cai png with a decent selection of mains and sides. Chosen here are their fried fish, pork chop, onion omelette and bean sprouts.

The fried fish has a crispy and savoury tasting flour batter. It is nice, but can’t exactly taste much fish meat. The pork chop is soft and meaty with a slight crisp. It is glazed with a sweet tasting sweet and sour sauce. The onion omelette has crunchy onion bits in a thick nicely flavoured egg omelette. As for the bean sprouts, it contains some spring onions and carrot shreds. It is moist and crunchy with decently nice flavours. The serving of rice comes with a mildy spicy and flavourful curry sauce,

Overall, this plate of cai png tastes nice.
