Char Siew, Siu Yuk, Roast Duck

Ming Xuan Roasted does a trio of roast meats – char siew, siu yuk and roast duck.

The char siew is firm and meaty with a sweet taste. The savoury tasting siu yuk is firm and meaty as well, with a bit of soft fatty parts and a crispy skin. The roast duck is soft and meaty with a juicy and decently flavoured skin. These are served on a plate of rice with a mildly sweet tasting braised sauce added. A crispy chilli oil and a bowl of savoury tasting vegetables soup is served on the side.

This plate of char siew, siu yuk, roast duck rice has hearty serving portions and all 3 roasted meats tastes decent.

Soya Sauce Chicken

Besides roasted meats, soya sauce chicken is available as well. Above is their soya sauce chicken with noodles. The dumplings are an extra add-on.

The soya sauce chicken has meaty and moist meat with bones attached. Its skin is fairly smooth and decently flavourful. The tossed noodles is firm and springy and has decent seasoning flavours. Comes with some pork lard and vegetables. Tastes decent too.

The dumpling is rather large in size. It has soft skin containing a nicely flavoured soft and meaty filling with some crunchy water chestnut bits. Not bad.
