This pork chop has really old school kind of flavourings. It has a very nice Chinese style marinate flavour. The meat is tender and juicy with a bit of mild pan induced crispiness outside. Special sauce is then added on top of the meat. This sauce tastes of ketchup with a little sweetness, somewhat like the taste of baked beans sauce, and it has some onion shreds in it. Mixes really well with the pork chop. Very nice!
Comes with fairly crispy fries, baked beans, tomato and cucumber slices on the side.
Similarly to the pork chop, this chicken chop is tender and juicy with pockets of pan induced mild crispiness outside. The chicken skin is especially good with tasty flavours and a light crisp. This chicken chop tastes lovely with the special sauce added. Recommended. As usual, it comes with fairly crispy fries, baked beans, tomato and cucumber slices on the side.
The chicken cutlet is the deep fried version of their chicken chop. It has a nice crispy breaded crust with tender and moist meat inside. Tastes good with their house sauce. Personally, I prefer their chicken chop over the chicken cutlet a meat more due to the crispy chicken skin. Comes with the usual fries, baked beans, tomato and cucumber slices on the side.
Fish and Chips
Just like its chicken cutlet counterpart, this fish fillet is deep fried with a nicely crispy breaded crust and the fish meat is moist. Instead of the usual mayonnaise salad dressing, this comes with their special house sauce which surprisingly goes really well with the fish. I like it. Sidekick of fries, bake beans, tomato and cucumber slices are included on the side.
This lamb chop is nice. Its meat is tender and juicy with nice mutton flavours but without the gamey tastes. Tastes nice with the special sauce added. Decently crispy fries, baked beans, tomato and cucumber slices are included on the side.
Sausage and Egg
No. 1 Western Food serves sausage and egg as well. Good as a light meal or a snack. Comes with two standard chicken franks and a fried egg that is a bit soft and watery. As usual, it is their special house sauce that makes the difference. Comes with fries, baked beans, tomato and cucumber slices too.
