Minced Meat Noodles

Ocean Handmade Fishball Noodles serves the usual minced meat and fish ball noodles. Seen above is their minced meat mee pok which comes with minced meat, pork slices, mushrooms, fish cake slices, meatball and fishball.

Both the minced meat and pork slices are soft and meaty with nice savoury tastes. The mushrooms is soft with nice braised flavours.

The fishball, meatball and fish cake are all handmade. The fishball is firm and springy with nice light savoury flavours. The fish cake is soft and smooth with light savoury flavours as well. The handmade meatball is soft and smooth with nice savoury flavours. Surprisingly, the meatball is smoother and softer than their fishball. Personally, I like their meatballs more than their fishballs.

As for the mee pok, it is quite smooth and fairly firm with decent seasoning flavours. It is tossed with crispy pork lard pieces and topped with some fried shallots. A bowl of nice savoury tasting soup is served on the side.

This serving of mee pok is a decent one. Their handmade meatballs is nice.
