Fried Mee Hoon

This fried mee hoon has a moist texture with some shredded vegetables and bean sprouts. It has a savoury flavours of soya sauce. The dollop of chili paste at the side is savoury tasting with a hint of dried shrimp flavours. As for the added slice of luncheon meat, it is the regular type and isn’t crispy.

This fried mee hoon is rather ordinary and tastes somewhat average.

Nasi Lemak

Nasi lemak is served here as well with a small selection of sides to choose from. Seen above is with fried chicken wing, fish cake, otah, ikan bilis and peanuts.

The rice is kind of soft and bland, tastes like plain white rice. The fried chicken wing is soft and isn’t crispy. It has a mild savoury taste and its meat is rather dry. The fish cake is decent though, soft and smooth. The otah is just an ordinary one with fairly decent flavours. As for the ikan bilis and peanuts, the ikan bilis is crispy and the peanuts is still crunchy but getting soft. A watery chilli with a tint of dried shrimp flavours is provided on the side.

To me, this isn’t even nasi lemak per se. It is more like plain white rice with some sides and chilli sauce. It is not even likeable.
