Somerset Fishball Noodle serves fishball noodles with large bouncy fishballs and soft meatballs. Fish dumpling and fish cake slices are included too. Mee pok is chosen as choice of noodles for this.
The fishball is smooth and savoury tasting with a nice firm springiness. The meatball is soft and smooth. It contains bits of spring onions and is flavourful. Both the fishball and meatball are rather large in size, and tastes rather good.
The fish cake is similar to the fishball. It is soft and smooth and springy with nice savoury flavours. As for the fish dumpling, it is fairly smooth with a meaty filling.
The mee pok is tossed with fried shallot and crispy lard pieces. It is topped with chopped spring onions. The mee pok has a firm and springy texture, and is nicely flavoured. Comes served with a bowl of savoury tasting soup on the side.
This is a hearty serving of fishball mee pok. Totally enjoyable. Thumbs up!
