Roast Paradise

is a fairly popular stall selling nicely done char siew and siu yuk. Decently nice.

Char Siew & Siu Yuk Rice

Roast Paradise sells nicely done char siew and siu yuk.

I had requested for the fat ones but unfortunately they aren’t exactly fat. Although the char siew is rather lean, it is soft and meaty, slightly charred with sweet flavours. The char siew would have be really good if it is the fatty type, but still it is rather decent.

As for the siu yuk, it is juicy and meaty with nice crispy skin and rather tender meat. It has savoury flavours but slightly on the salty end. It is still likeable though.

The rice provided is the chicken rice type of flavoured rice. Comes with a few slices of cucumbers and served with a sweet black sauce and a garlicky limey tasting chilli sauce. This char siew siu yuk rice is definitely a nice one.
