Nasi Lemak

Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak is a famous stall serving nasi lemak. A selection of sets is available. Shown above is their set with a fried chicken wing, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts.

First, the fried chicken wing. It has a really crispy skin batter but unfortunately its meat is kind of dry. Nice savoury seasoning flavours though. Although its meat is a bit dry, this fried chicken wing is still quite likeable.

Next, the fried egg has nice crispy whites but the yolk is well cooked as well and isn’t watery. As for the ikan bilis and peanuts, the ikan bilis is crispy and the peanuts is crunchy. They are nice.

All these are served with a fairly fragrant and firm rice that has a mild savoury taste coming from the coconut milk added. A couple of cucumber slices and a dollop of sambal chilli is included on the side. It is worth mentioning that the chilli is spicy with a nice sweet flavouring, and it goes really well with the rice. Remember to ask for extra chilli.

This serving of nasi lemak is definitely a likeable one.
