Char Siew, Siu Yuk, Roast Chicken

Shenton Way Golden Bridge Roasted Chicken Rice does siu mei with the usual assortment of roast meats. Shown here is their char siew, siu yuk and roast chicken with rice.

The char siew is meaty with a sweet taste, kind of lean though. The siu yuk is tender, meaty and juicy with nice savoury flavours and has crispy skin. The roast pork is definitely nicer than the char siew here. As for the roast chicken, it has slightly crispy skin and moist meat. Tastes rather nice too.

These are served with plain white rice with a braised sauce and served with option sambal chilli on the side. It is worth mentioning, the chilli has tiny strips of onions in it. It has dried shrimps flavourings and is spicy. It is nice and goes well with the siu mei. This is quite a decent plate of char siew, roast pork and roast chicken rice.
