Mee Pok

Song Kee Fishball Noodle is well known for its handmade fishballs and large fish dumplings. You can choose from the usual selection of noodles. Shown here is with mee pok with nice flavourings and is quite springy. The noodles come with an assortment of fishballs, fish dumplings, tau pok with fish paste, fish roll and a bowl of soup.

The fishball is springy and nice. You can tell from the texture of the fishball that this is handmade. Likewise the tau pok with fish paste and fish roll are both nice too. The highlight here is their fish dumplings. It is large compared to the petite ones usually found in Singapore. To those who are familiar with Hong Kong, the fish dumplings here are similar to those commonly found in Hong Kong. Larger size, slightly chewy and slimy with nice flavours. I like it.
