Fried Kway Teow

Woks of Taste Char Kway Teow is a rather popular stall serving fried kway teow containing rather generous potions of see hum, fish cake and lap cheong slices. The fish cake is soft, the lap cheong has a slightly sweet taste and the see hum is of decent size.

These are wok fried in a mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles with egg and some bean sprouts. Sweet black sauce is added giving this a mildly sweet taste. A very slight tint of wok hei is detected as well. This fried kway teow has a slightly wet and moist texture, and contains some crispy lard pieces too. Likeable.
