Porridge

Huang Hong Ji Porridge offers a small handful of porridge options. You can choose between minced meat, shredded chicken and cuttlefish with peanuts. You can also add century eggs into your porridge.

Shown above is their minced meat porridge. This porridge is quite smooth with decent flavours. It is a bit watery though. Personally I prefer it slightly thicker. The minced meat is soft with nice flavours and not too salty. It is quite nice.

Fried Mee Hoon

Huang Hong Ji Porridge also sells fried mee hoon which comes with some shredded vegetables. It is a bit soft but tastes alright though. It may not be the best tasting fried mee hoon, but definitely better than a couple of the stalls at Tanglin Halt Market across the road.
