Hainanese Chicken & Roast Chicken

Uncle Louis Famous Chicken Rice does hainanese chicken and roast chicken with rice. Seen above are with both hainanese chicken and roast chicken. These are served with a plate of rice, a bowl of soup and chilli sauce on the side.

The hainanese chicken has soft and tender meat with soft smooth skin. The roast chicken has soft and tender meat too, with a nice flavourful skin that is still slightly crispy. The chicken meat are nicely deboned and served with some cucumber slices on a plate with a mildly sweet tasting soya sauce seasoning added. Nice.

The rice has a nice fragrance to it, is firm and flavourful. The soup provided is a pork ribs and radish soup that is savoury tasting and flavourful. The chilli sauce is the usual limey and garlicky tasting chilli used for chicken rice.

This serving of chicken rice is rather enjoyable. I like it.

Char Siew & Siu Yuk

Uncle Louis Famous Chicken Rice also serves char siew and siu yuk. Fatty ones are requested for this.

The char siew is soft and sweet with some meaty parts and some fatty parts. The siu yuk is meaty with some fatty parts as well, with nice crispy skin. The siu yuk is not overly salty too. Both are nice and likeable.

Comes with the usual serving of rice, soup and chilli sauce.
