Yong Tau Foo

Yun Ji Yong Tau Fu serves a few yong tau foo sets. Above is one of their yong tau foo soup with yellow noodles chosen, and fried yong tau foo. The yong tau foo soup has an option for add noodles or mee hoon. Yellow noodles is added for this.

The yong tau foo soup has a nicely flavoured soup, and you can add your own soya bean, spring onions and crispy fried shallots to it. The tau pok with fish paste has nice flavours of the soup. The tau kee with fish paste is soft and smooth, and tastes nice as well. The fishball is soft, smooth and springy, and there is a fish paste ball that is soft and smooth too. The fried tau kee roll still has a slightly crispy skin wrapping a firm and savoury tasting filling. All of these tastes nice.

The fried yong tau foo comes with pieces of deep fried tau pok and tau kee. The tau pok is crispy outside with a soft and juicy fish paste filling inside. The tau kee has a crispy skin with a flavourful fish paste filling that is soft and smooth. Both are nice too.

Comes with an optional chilli sauce and sweet sauce for dipping. Both yong tau foo soup and fried yong tau foo are quite tasty and likeable. Thumbs up.
