Hainanese Chicken & Roast Chicken

Swee Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice does hainanese chicken and roast chicken with rice.

The hainanese chicken has smooth and moist meat with soft and smooth skin. The roast chicken has moist and flavourful meat, and its skin is flavourful as well. These are served on a plate with a mildly sweet tasting soya sauce and oil added, and topped with some coriander leaves. Do note that the chicken is not completely deboned though.

The plate of rice is fairly fragrant, firm and flavourful. The soup is rather nicely flavoured as well. The chilli sauce is the usual limey and garlicky type used for chicken rice.

All in all, this serving of chicken rice is not bad.

Char Siew & Siu Yuk

Swee Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice does char siew and siu yuk as well. The char siew is soft and meaty. Its sweet caramelised edges tastes nice. The savoury tasting siu yuk is soft and meaty as well, however its skin is not crispy. These are served on a plate of firm and flavourful rice with a bowl of soup and chilli on the side. Tastes decent.
