Hainanese Chicken Rice

169 Hainanese Chicken Rice is a very popular stall selling hainanese chicken rice and bean sprouts. Only the shite type of chicken is sold here.

The hainanese chicken has soft and tender meat that is moist and smooth. Its chicken skin is very smooth and soft. There are even some clear jelly bits with the skin! The slices of hainanese chicken meat is served in a soya sauce and oil based seasoning that is savoury and a little bit sweet. This hainanese chicken is definitely good. Just one very minor downside, the chicken meat is not deboned.

On the other side of the plate is an optional serving of bean sprouts. The boiled bean sprouts is crunchy and moist. The soya sauce seasoning tastes really good with it and there are some seasoned garlic bits included on the top. It is good. I highly recommend that you get the option that comes with bean sprouts.

The serving of rice has a nice firm texture, it is fragrant and very flavourful. Really good too. The bowl of soup is savoury tasting with a hint of ginger and pepper. As for the chilli sauce, it is garlicky and goes really well with the hainanese chicken.

This is definitely a lovely serving of hainanese chicken rice that is truly enjoyable. Good!
