1980 Penang Prawn Noodle dishes out penang style prawn mee, which comes with prawns, fish cake slices and half a boiled egg. An optional dollop of mildly sweet-tasting chilli paste is also available.

The prawns are rather large in size and taste quite fresh, and the fish cake is soft and smooth. These are served with firm yellow noodles and some bean sprouts, in a bowl of rich and flavourful broth and topped with some crispy fried shallots. I like it!

This bowl of prawn mee is truly satisfying.
