The following is a list of recommended eats at Tiong Bahru Market from the.fat.guide:

Good

Ah Tai Hainanese Chicken Rice: Hainanese chicken rice by former chef of Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice. Original tasty flavours. Definitely better than the central kitchen produced ones from Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice. Recommended!

China Street Hum Jin Pang: Tasty and highly affordable ham chim peng in both salty and sweet flavours. Good to snack on.

Danlao: Absolutely lovely smooth and runny scrambled egg rice with choce of mains. Their chicken cutlet is good!

Fu Shun Jin Ji Shao La Mian Jia: Really good char siew and siu yuk served with rice or noodles. Thumns up!

Hock Lai Seng Teochew Fishball Bak Chor Mee: Minced meat and fishball noodles with really soft and smooth fishballs and fish cake.

Tong Fong Fatt Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice: Chain store that is famous for their delicious hainanese chicken rice.

Uncle Louis Famous Chicken Rice: Hainanese chicken and roast chicken rice. Char siew and siu yuk are available too. Lovely!

1980 Penang Prawn Noodle: Penang style prawn mee with rich and flavourful broth. Truly satisfying.
