Fried Carrot Cake.

Black White Carrot Cake does old school style fried carrot cake using soft radish cubes pan fried with eggs and chye poh, topped with chopped spring onions.

The white version is not the flat pancake type but the regular radish cubes type. It is pan fried with a nice crisp outside and the radish cake is soft inside. It has nice savoury flavours with a tint of wok hei. Very nice!

The black version is similar to the white version but with sweet black sauce added, giving it a slight note of sweet. However it is not as crispy as the white ones and the mild wok hei flavours are covered by the sweet black sauce. It is still very likeable though.

Both the black and white versions of fried carrot cake are nice in their own ways. Personally I like the white version over here a little but more as it is crispier and has mild tastes of wok hei. It is good!
