Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak

is a popular and famous stall serving various nasi lemak sets with fluffy and flavourful rice. Their fried chicken wing is nice.

Nasi Lemak

Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak serves various nasi lemak sets. Above is their set with fried chicken wing, fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts served with rice and chilli. The otah is an extra add-on.

The fried chicken has nicely seasoned flavours, with a crispy batter and moist meat. It is good. The fried egg, however, is the regular kind with a cooked egg yolk. The peanuts is crunchy and the savoury tasting ikan bilis has a airy crispiness to it. Nice! As for the otah, it has a firm texture with bits of fish meat in its paste. The otah is nicely flavoured with a kick of spiciness. Rather nice too.

The rice is fragrant and flavourful. It is fluffy and has a nice firmness to it. The accompanying chilli is spicy with a subtle hint of sweetness. A couple of cucumber slices are served on the side.

This serving of nasi lemak is an enjoyable one. I like it.
