Fishball Noodles

Hong Li Fishball Noodle does fishball noodles with the usual selection of noodles. Above is their mee pok, which comes with fish cake slices, pork slices and fishballs. Served with a bowl of soup on the side.

The fish cake is soft and smooth. The fishball is soft and smooth too, and springy with a nice light savoury taste. The pork is firm and meaty. As for the mee pok, it is tossed in vinegar, chilli and crispy pork lard. The noodles is firm and springy, and topped with some chopped spring onions. Tastes nice. A bowl of nicely flavoured soup with chye poh and spring onions is served on the side.

This serving of mee pok is rather likeable. Thumbs up.
