Yong Tau Foo

Guan Huat Yong Tau Foo offers quite a selection of yong tau foo pieces with choice of noodles and options for clear soup, dry version or with laksa gravy. Shown here is with clear soup and yellow noodles.

The soup has a nice ikan bilis flavouring and not salty at all. The yong tau foo pieces tastes decent. Comes with a dipping sauce mixture of chilli and sweet sauce. Quite nice.

You can also choose laksa gravy instead of the usual clear soup. This laksa gravy is fragrant and has rich coconut flavours. You can choose your own yong tau foo pieces and noodles. Shown here is with mee hoon. The only downside is, the crispy pieces are not served separately and hence are soft with the laksa gravy. It would have been really nice if the crispy yong tau foo pieces are still crispy instead of soggy. Still this is quite a nice bowl of laksa.
