is a fairly popular stall selling fried hokkien mee with very nice taste of wok hei. Good!

Fried Hokkien Mee

Hup Seng Fried Prawn Noodle sells fried hokkien mee with a very nice wok hei. Comes with prawns, pork belly and sotong slices stir fried in a nice mix of yellow noodles and mee hoon with eggs and a broth. Chilli and a piece of lime is served on the side.

This fried hokkien mee has a slightly wet texture, but its noodles and mee hoon mix is still springy and has a nice smokey taste. Squeeze in the lime and the flavours gets even better. The chilli on the side has a nice dried shrimp taste and mixes well with the fried noodles. The prawns and sotong slices are just your usual stuff. The pork belly however is worth a mention, it is half fatty and is soft and moist. Really nice.

This is definitely a lovely plate of fried hokkien mee. I like it! Big thumbs up!
