Hainanese Curry Rice
New Scissor-cut Curry Rice Restaurant serves hainanese curry rice with various mains and sides. Above is with pork chop, fried prawnx and onion egg omelette served with rice and curry sauce.
The pork chop is meaty with nice savoury seasoning flavours, but its breaded crust is unfortunately no longer crispy. The savoury tasting fried prawn has a thick crispy batter that is still mildly crispy. The fried onion egg omlette is decent with crunchy bits of onions. As for the curry sauce, it is fairly thick and flavourful with a slight tone of spiciness.
This plate of hainanese curry rice is a decent one.
