Ayam Penyet

Project Penyek by Ansar serves really nice ayam penyet. This ayam penyet comes with a fried chicken thigh topped with crispy fried flour, flavoured rice, a bowl of soup, some vegetables, a piece of green lime and sambal chilli on the side.

The fried chicken has moist meat and its skin is wonderfully juicy and crispy. The extra toppings of crispy bits makes it even crunchier. It has nice savoury flavours. Squeeze in the lime juice and it tastes even better. Really nice.

The rice is decently tasty, just like your regular chicken rice. As for the chilli, it is spicy with a bit of limey and slightly sweet flavours. It pairs really well with the fried chicken. As for the soup, nice savoury flavours with a hint of ginger.

Besides fried chicken, fried fish is available as well. I definitely like this ayam penyet. It is a lovely and satisfying plate of ayam penyet.
