Ngo Hiang

Seng Kee Ngo Hiang Prawn Cracker serves a nice assortment ngo hiang pieces and fried mee hoon. Seen here is their ngo hiang, prawn cracker, fishball, egg roll and spicy prawn roll.

The ngo hiang has a soft and nicely flavoured filling with a light crispy wrapping. The prawn cracker is the airy crispy type and contains small crispy prawn pieces. Very nice and highly recommend extras.

The fishball is soft and springy with nice savoury flavours and slightly crispy outsides. The egg roll has nice flavours and is soft and springy with slightly crispy outsides too. Likewise for the spicy prawn roll, firm and springy with mildly spicy and savoury salty flavours, soft inside and slightly crispy outsides. All these are rather nice.

The assortment of ngo hiang pieces comes served with some cucumber slices and 2 dipping sauces on the side. The chilli sauce dip has a slightly limey taste and is topped with grated peanuts. The sweet sauce has a starchy texture and a light sweet taste. Very nice!

You can also order a plate of fried mee hoon to go along with your ngo hiang pieces. This fried mee hoon contains some bean sprouts. It has a dry texture and nice flavourings. It goes well with the ngo hiang pieces.

This is definitely a nice and satisfying good meal. Truly enjoayble.
