Fishball Noodles

Tanjong Pagar Teo Chew Fishball Noodle is a popular noodle stall selling the usual assortment of noodles with fishballs and meatballs. Shown above is their signature noodles and mee pok is chosen.

The bowl of mee pok comes with soft minced meat and bean sprouts in a seasoning mixture of vinegar, soya sauce and lard. The mee pok is springy with a dry texture and nice flavours.

A bowl of soup contains fish cake slices, fish dumplings, fishballs, vegetables ball and meatball. The soup is savoury tasting and a bit on the salty side. The fish cake is fairly soft with chewy skin. The fish dumpling has nice smooth texture and very nicely flavoured filling. The fishball is soft, springy and nice savoury tastes. Likewise for the meatball, soft and springy with nice savoury flavours. As for the vegetables ball, it contains bits of spring onions and chopped chilli. It is springy and has a firmer texture compared with the fishball, and tastes really good. Highly recommended!

This stall serves really good fishballs and meatballs. Mee pok is nice too. Definitely a very nice and lovely meal. Good!
