Fried Carrot Cake

Thousand Joys Local Delights does fried carrot cake in both black and white versions. Longish cubes of radish cakes are pan fried with eggs and chye poh. The radish cake is quite soft and springy, and has a very mild savoury taste.

The white version is done flat pancake style with a lightly crispy egg coating, and has nice decent flavours. The black version has sweet black sauce added, giving it a very mild taint of sweetness. It has small pockets of crispiness, but is mostly soft. These are topped with some chopped spring onions.

Although both the black and white versions of fried carrot cake are not exactly crispy, but their flavouring is rather decent.
