Fried Carrot Cake

Uncle Bao Carrot Cake serves fried carrot cake in the usual black and white varieties using handmade radish cake cubes.

The radish cake cubes are soft and springy. These are pan-fried with eggs and chye poh. The white version is done flat pancake style with a slightly crispy egg coating. The black ones has sweet black sauce added giving it a faint note of sweet. Although the black version of the fried carrot cake is not crispy, it is still rather nice.

Both black and white versions of the fried carrot cake are nice in their own ways. I like them both. Thumbs up.
