Signature Prawn Mee

Xia Zhi Jia serves 3 variations of their prawn noodles. Above is their signature prawn mee dry version with yellow noodles. It includes prawns, pork slices, leek fish cake and half a boiled egg. A bowl of soup is provided on the side.

The pork is firm and meaty, and the nicely flavoured leek fish cake is soft and smooth with a chewy skin. As for the prawn, it is rather large sized and tastes quite fresh. Half a boiled egg is also provided.

The noodles is tossed in a soya sauce and chilli seasoning, and tastes decent. It comes with some vegetables and topped with crispy fried shallots. A bowl of soup is provided on the side. The soup has very nice flavours of prawns. It is good!
