Wanton Mee

Xing Yun Wanton Noodle does wanton noodles with a difference. It comes with a usual plate of noodles topped with char siew and a bowl of soup filled with wanton dumplings.

The noodles uses a seasoning mix of black sauce and soya sauce, with some lard added. It is quite springy and tastes fairly nice. The noodles are topped with slices of lean meat char siew, just the ordinary kind. This plate of noodles come with a bowl of wanton soup on the side. The wanton dumplings are fairly nice too with soft skin and juicy meat fillings. The difference is in its soup. It contains ikan bilis and soya beans. Tastes good too. I like it.
