Pork Porridge

Yuan Ting Gourmet serves a variety of porridge. Seen above is their pork porridge with a raw egg added.

The porridge itself has nice flavours, however the rice is still grainy and not fine enough. The added raw egg helps make it a little smoother. As for the pork, the pork slices are tiny in size and the minced meat bits comes in small portions. Both the pork slices and minced meat are soft and meaty though. Some crispy fried shallots and chopped spring onions are added, and crispy you tiao pieces tops it off.

This bowl of congee is fairly decent but quite ordinary.
