Fried Mee Hoon

Yum Yum Yummy Vegetarian offers a nice selection of vegetarian dishes with options for rice or mee hoon. Shown here is their fried mee hoon with vegetarian char siew, vegetarian duck, chye poh egg and spring roll with curry vegetables.

The mock meat duck slices is chewy and has a mild smokey taste with decent flavours. For the mock meat char siew, it tastes quite ordinary. The chye poh egg is quite nice, not too salty. The spring roll is decent too, crispy and chewy skin with a lightly sweet flavoured filling inside. The fried mee hoon tastes alright too, on its own. With the curry sauce, it tastes much better. The curry is mildly spicy and tastes rather nice.

Generous hearty portions. May not be the tastiest around, but still quite likeable.
