Faith Nasi Lemak Fried Bee Hoon Mee sells a variety of nasi lemak sets and sides to choose from. Seen here is their nasi lemak with a fried egg, ikan bilis and peanuts, fried chicken wing and fish fillet.
Its coconut milk cooked rice has a nice firm texture and fragrance to it The fried chicken wing has good flavours with crispy skin and juicy flesh. I like it. Recommended.
The fish fillet is crispy outside and soft inside, and the fried egg has a soft watery yolk The ikan bilis is crispy with nice savoury taste and the peanuts is crunchy. Comes served with a slightly sweet tasting dried shrimp flavoured chilli on the side.
This plate of nasi lemak is truly enjoyable.
Fried Rice
This fried rice is fried with egg. It is decently dry and has nice flavours. Seen above is with an otah and fried chicken wing added. The otah is quite decent. It has a nice firmness to it, with spicy and slightly savoury flavours. The fried chicken wing is crispy and juicy, very likeable.
The fried rice comes served with a slightly sweet dried shrimp flavoured chilli on the side, and it goes rather well together with the fried rice. This fried rice is quite nice.
Fried Mee Hoon & Fried Noodles
There are 2 types of fried mee hoon here, the regular black ones and the white ones.
The fried white mee hoon is fried with vegetable bits, carrot shreds, potato bits and onion bits and egg. It has very nice smokey flavours of wok hei and its flavouring is really nice. Seen here is added with a luncheon meat that has a slightly crispy egg coating, and a fried chicken wing. This fried white mee hoon is good!
As for their regular fried mee hoon, seen above is with fried noodles added and a fried chicken wing. The fried mee hoon comes with some bean sprouts, is moist and nicely flavoured. The fried noodles contains some kway teow and some vegetables. Just like their fried mee hoon, it is moist and rather flavourful. Both are likeable.
