Yong Tau Foo

Poy Kee Yong Tau Foo dishes out traditional style yong tau foo. An assortment of yong tau foo pieces comes served in a bowl of clear soya bean based soup, and a bowl of noodles on the side.

The noodles has a simple soya sauce and oil seasoning, yet is flavourful and springy. It is topped with nice crispy and savoury ikan bilis. Its crunchiness is matches well with the noodle’s springiness. Definitely nice.

An assortment of yong tau foo pieces are contained in a bowl of clear soya bean based soup. The fish ball is quite smooth and springy. White tofu with fish paste has a smooth and soft texture. Fried tofu with fish paste is similar to the white tofu but with a fried outer layer that has a tougher texture. The tau kee has nice tofu skin wrapping around nicely flavoured fish paste. Comes with a dipping sauce on the side, with both sweet sauce and chilli sauce that you can dip according to your tastebud’s liking.
