Hainanese Chicken Rice

Ah Liong’s Ultimate Kampong Chicken Rice uses kampong chickens for their chicken rice. Only the white type of chicken is available here and is served with a bowl of rice, a bowl of soup and chilli sauce.

The rice is fairly fragrant and tastes quite nice. The chicken meat served on a plate with cucumber slices and soya sauce seasoning. It is moist and tender with fairly smooth chicken skin. The soup is light with a slight hint of bean sprouts flavours. The garlic chilli sauce is the slight thicker type and is quite nice.

This may not be the ultimate chicken rice around, but it is still quite likeable.
